Choosing a Youth Baseball Hoodie

Shopping for a kid who loves baseball? Start with the fit, the color they will wear and when you need it. Here are a few things to check, using our Rip N Peel youth hoodie as an example.

Check the measurements first

Rip N Peel comes in youth sizes XS through XL. Size labels can vary between garments, so look at the size-guide images on the product page before ordering.

Lay a hoodie that already fits flat, then compare its width and length with the product measurements. Follow the measuring directions in the guide and use the same units. Think about how the hoodie will be worn, too: a layer over a T-shirt may need a different amount of room than a closer everyday fit. If you are unsure which measurement to use, contact us before choosing a size.

Look at the fabric and details

Rip N Peel is made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester, with 8 oz./yd² midweight fleece. It has a front pouch pocket, a double-lined hood, ribbed cuffs and hem, and no drawcords.

These details help you compare it with a hoodie your kid already likes. Check the photos for the design placement as well as the garment itself.

Pick a color they will wear

The three options are Black, Navy and White. One detail worth knowing: because of the fabric, White may look off-white rather than bright white. View the different product photos before deciding.

Plan ahead for a gift

This hoodie is made after you order. If it is for a birthday or another date, account for both production and shipping, and check the current delivery information before checkout. A product price alone does not tell you the final checkout total or arrival date.

Your quick buying checklist

  • Compare width and length with the size guide.

  • Choose Black, Navy or White, remembering the off-white note.

  • Check the current price and delivery information.

  • Ask about anything unclear before ordering.
